!Restored: CMD-Click in PlotMaker

It would be swell if there were a way to select multiple items using CMD-Click in PlotMaker, namely when it comes to multiple pens that one would like to alter to the same line weight, and in the Publisher, where one sets up a group of items to print in a specific fashion, and would like to select multiple, change print setup and print options.

any advice?!?

Maybe I'm not understanding your post...

You can edit multiple pens in the "Pen Settings" dialog. Just click and drag over multiple pens or "Ctrl" or "Cmd" click multiple pens to edit.

In Publisher (and Navigator) the current printer settings globally control the output of Layouts. Change the print setting once and all of the Layouts follow those settings. Just create multiple Publish Sets to control.

Am I not understanding your post?

What version of PlotMaker are you running CMD-Click to select multiple items works for me.

IMHE the print and plot settings are inherited from plot or print setup when they are created in the publisher. After that however, you can edit the individual layouts or even subsets so that there are different setups within the same set. What I think he is referring to is that when you select multiple layouts in the publisher while in a 'print' set, the buttons for print setup gray out. While it is possible to edit the 'plot' settings of multiple layouts at the same time. Definitely an annoyance.

When it comes to the pens, I should have checked before I posted - When did that happen?!?

I am on PlotMaker 3.0.0v3, and the publisher issue is still a bit of bother. Basically, I wish to take my view set, and set the printers using the buttons on the lower right. When I select more than one, the buttons grey out.

Sorry for the confusion...

Yes, Plotting and Printing in Publisher are, for some reason, handled differently.

In a "Print" set you are stuck with the current/active printer for the whole set. If you wanted to control which Layout gets printed differently you would have to separate them into different sets and print them separately. Kind of a bummer.
