Scroll the toolbox with mouse wheel

wouldn't it be interesting if it were possible to scroll the toolbox like we do in the information box with the mouse scrool?

It seems much faster to me than opening and closing the toolbox tabs, or even making it larger horizontally to show all the icons.

The section that goes off screen (not displayed fully) will scroll, but it won't scroll up other section below.

But yes it would be nice if you could scroll the entire tool bar.

The only other option would be to go into your Work Environment, and edit the tool groups.

Put all the tools in one group and it has to scroll.

Or change the option to 'Always keep group open' and then you will see at least one tool from each group.

Then you can scroll in each group if you don't see all of the icons.

There’s also a secondary tool palette that has smaller icons and generally fits on screen. The palette can be stretched so the icons sit next to each other.

Not a secondary tool 'palette' that I know of.

But there is a 'tool bar' that can be turned on.

It doesn't scroll at all so you have to make it wider as you say.

And it can't be docked to the side of the screen if you want it double width - it must be free-floating.

You can also make the 'Palette' wider as well and it can remained docked to the side.

That must be a PC thing, my Toolbox Tool toolbar is docked to the side of the screen.

It does scroll on a Mac. So your wish would be for Windows to dow that

Looking at your image again Lee, that appears to be the toolbox 'palette', which can be docked and stretched wider.

The 'toolbar' can be wider when free-floating, but as soon as I dock it to the side it becomes single width and is not adjustable - and is not scrollable.
