Shell Weakness in AC 15

Hi ...
Ac 15 has brought a nice feature ! Shell but I think I can be much much much more useful if :

1)the shell extrusion line can be edited ( curved, ... )

2)we can have 2 extrusion line : It means I can define 4 3d lines ... join them ... and make a shell

As I asked a question in " working with archicad " and no one answer me , I guess Ac15 shell still must improve ...

http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewforum.php?f=20&sid=0ac7a216534c4a7dbd07f2184add4f6d

If the Archicad can provide these two ... It would be amazing in creating creative forms !

thanks a lot

I agree.

The shell tools as currently exist work well, but they don't cover the full range of shapes that could be imagined. A curved extrusion line would would be a start.

And to go one step further, with an extension of the Ruled shell; the possibility of having any number of Profiles arbitrarily arranged along a path of any shape or length would be the ultimate goal.

With respect to your question here, the image isn't clear enough to work out what the geometry needs to be. Perhaps you could provide a clearer image of what you need and you may get more response?

ya do agree. it can b join then add extrude of thickness like sketchup. then convert it under which component. for example roof , slab or wall.
