Hi,

Wall option to have slope on top along its reference line.

Not to take away from the validity of this wish, but in AC25 you now have polygon-shaped Openings. If you place one such Opening into the Wall, then you can modify its shape to cut the top of the Wall so as to achieve the desired Wall geometry.

Dear Mr. Laszlo,

With alll due respect I think thats overcomplicating. If you use poly opening tool to achieve this then, in some point it can become problem with 2d representation.

I personally belive that Graphisoft should upgrade wall tool capabilities, being that is essence of our work as a designers and builders alike. Having possibility in Z axis to control nodes would be time saver for many occasions.

I would like to see some of possibilities that beam and column tool have. Parameterization is the key of flexible and faster design.

Best regards,

Stefan

This is why I started my post with "Not to take away from the validity of this wish". I offered a workaround. However, I think the wish is valid and I support it, it would be much better if we did not have to resort to such workarounds.

an old methode of cutting walls - good to know in some situations - untill the parametric solution from Graphisoft will make such workarounds obsolete in 2055 or so....

SEO is ok, but as per request of this wish, I still believe that we need parameterization of the wall toll also in z axis. But as you said untill soe time in future we will use stick and stones methodology 😁

Stefan

I am due to apology, i didn't mean to attack you. I am just frustrated sometimes with Graphisoft. They have the information about user needs, they have knowledge (i assume), they have recourse (i hope). It just doesn't go through my head. V24 was good impact for MEP part, V25 total failure in what could be achieved. Hopefully this year V26 will shake the sleeping bear 😁

Stefan

No problem, as an architect I also have my own long little list of features that I would just LOVE to have in Archicad. 🙂

The thing is, some features that are being mentioned in wish forum seems to me that are more necessity than how to say "commodity".

Hope that Graphisoft will shake itself little bit, cuz the other softwares dont live on past glory, they thend to be inovative and listen to the market 🙂

I haven't delved into it at all, but is the Param-O thing of any use here?
