Stair Builder

When I build stairs, the part that checks the stairs by stopping you if its "out of range" doesn't let me build a legitimate stair. On a circular stair, the treads need to be 10" min along a circular path, 12" in from the inside of the circle. The risers can be no more than 7.75". The narrowest end of the tread has to be at least 6" deep. But when I input the numbers correctly, it says "out of range" and stops me from building it. Can this feature be overridden somehow? It would be a better stair builder if it were left to the Architect to make sure it meets code as they are often revised. Thanks for any help.

You can override this by changing the numbers in the Tread Settings boxes of ( 2 * Risers + Run ). Try increasing the upper number 1st. That usually works for me anyway.

Hope this helps.
