Stair display on RCP, How does it work?

The Stair tool has a RCP display mode with settings. But it is un clear to me how to make the stair know it needs to display as on a RCP vs the floor plan. How do I utilize the RCP display feature of stairs?

2 ways to control how a stair looks is:

  • Model View Options

  • or it's own individual setting. you'll have to un-check the box that says "by Model View Options". unchecking it overwrites the MVOs & uses the settings for each stair element.

Most of my floor-to-floor spanning stairs are associated to MVO.

whilst low-height stairs (think fire escape stairs that are only around 500mm high) are not MVO associated (unchecked MVO box).

I would still have a specific MVO for my RCP drawings & ensure that the stair setting is set to RCP, which, in this case, is a pretty simplified  (for a concrete stair at least)

Thank you Gerry. I figured that it was in the MVO, but I did not notice the pull-down selector. If it had been radio buttons, it would have been more obvious.
