- there is an option to place texture origin and rotation in section / elevation.
No ... aligning it in 3D does not do the job (not always) because is not enough precise, it requires drawing special moph lines if the origin is somewhere in the middle of the object and takes to much time to do such a simple operation.
- vectorial hatch is shown also in plan view (as an option in Model View Options)
- vectorial hatch works with snaping allowing to dimension them
This is crucial when doing tile layouts.
Now drawing tile layouts requires using cover fill for tiles on the ground which may differ from those on walls made by texture with vectorial hatch (which is also on the ground) and lines or points for dimensioning.
Now its way to complicated and leading to mistakes.
