When we are talking about fundamental tools improvement (see the wall settings wish) I would like to add my bit about the beam tool:
1. the very same geometry method styles as the wall tool has (straight, curved, trapezoid etc.)
2. possibility to draw a beam by reference line on the edges not just by the center one + corner solutions based on that
3. curved (vaulted) beam
4. basic parametric sections already built-in (T,L,C,H,S,U,O)
5. storey visibility of a slab/roof as in v.9
6. inclined beam
