Walking Line in Stair Tool in AC21

The walking line symbol does not orient properly with regard to the up/down text. The walking line should point up from the lower floor and down from the upper floor. Walking line always points in either the up or down direction, depending on setting, regardless of floor being viewed. Story sensitivity is lacking.

I noticed this too. Looks like I'll have to continue to use my separate Walking Line Object until this is fixed.

Having moved from Revit to Archicad, I'm surprised that this hasn't already been implemented.

Surely it's relatively simple to do.

It's been implemented before, it's just missing from the new tool. Hopefully it will be corrected in the first hotfix.

So it's in AC20?

AC 20 has a different and now obsolete Stair tool so going back does not necessarily helps.

I just don't get it. Why is this a wish list item? Knowing the effort that went into the new stair tool, I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how to make the arrow reverse direction. Guess I should head here sooner in the future.

I'd like to think it's a bug and hope it will be fixed soon.

It is a bit crazy that you can change the direction of the walking line (Walking Line 21 object) in the visible and hidden parts of the stair (so it can point in 2 different direction on the one storey) but you can't alter the direction per storey.

I am sure (or at least I hope) it could be solved with a little? GDL scripting.
