Walking Line in Stair Tool in AC21

The walking line symbol does not orient properly with regard to the up/down text. The walking line should point up from the lower floor and down from the upper floor. Walking line always points in either the up or down direction, depending on setting, regardless of floor being viewed. Story sensitivity is lacking.

As far as I can tell, update 4022 has not resolved the stair problem. This is a very frustrating flaw in an otherwise functional tool.

Does anyone have a sense if the walk line issues are on Graphisoft's radar?
I tried to explain the "down arrows only" approach to a contractor in California and he found it extremely confusing.

This just seems like such an easy fix!

Yes but you must use "Walking Line 21" - not the built-in line.

I recently heard on a ArchiCAD webinar that the stair arrow direction, and up / down text had be "fixed" for the North American market. Is this the case? If so, what build?

It is mostly fixed. Doesn't work well when you have the walk line non-continuous at landings. GRRR
