Why does QuickLayers Palette act differently than all others

I wish the QuickLayer Palette would act like all other palettes and stay where I put it. I haven't seen a setting that addresses this.

Every time I open an ArchCAD session (several times a day), I have to undertake this sisyphean, simian exercise of manually opening the QuickLayer Palette. It's not saved as part of the work environment nor as a simple preference.

It's maddening and goes straight to my much-repeated point that the makers of this software are not so concerned with offering a CAD solution as they are with stripping users of the last shreds of their human dignity.

you could abandon the quicklayers palette and set up a quicklayers toolbar. it's slightly smaller but not much of an adjustment really. and toolbars are remembered with the work environment . . .

or you could go the whole hog and put the quicklayers commends in your main toolbar...
