Apple has just released software to enable networked computers to "work" together- for instance a flyaround could be done accessing any idle computers on your network.

I would like to see graphisoft incorporate this.

yes 1100 G5 duals. The air conditioning load is enormous.

a few G5 Xserves in a rack would be impressive too

have you managed to get it working? i'm trying to get a cluster of two running and can't seem to connect to each other . . . thought i knew what i was doing!

i can get each to run as a localhost, but i'm lost trying to get a client to hookup to a controller (password authentication turned off for all). can't even get a controller to be able to use itself!

Please can graphisoft provide an Xgrid plug-in for Archicad.

Xgrid allows multiple Apple Macs to be linked together as one super computer, such as the Verginia Tec unit consisting of 1100 Apple Mac G5s!

I have 4 G5s I wish to link which would provide the power of a Cray of a few years ago.

This would give Archicad a great sales advantage over any other CAD system. Movies in realtime anyone? Yes please!

Apple have just released Xgridv2 preview -It might not be a feature that is used every day by everyone (then again nor are many of Archicads features like scheduling, take offs, rendering) but when it is necessary , like a quicktime flyaround it would be so invaluable.
It takes all night to do a decent flyaround.

Maybe artlantis will support xgrid
