1.It would be nice if the column tool could use the symbolic-cut feature in the floor plan display. I often have shorter post that fall under the cut plain and I have to install a DET-lumber object on top of it.
2.It would also be very helpfull if the column could be shown on other floors on the show stories feature, since I often have a slab on the level imediatly below that level and the post does not protrude into that level thus again I have to use the DET-Lumber object.
both of these are quite doable and the method I'm using now causes problems when the post move but the object doesn't and I have to go thru all the levels where I know this occures.
