I think it would be a good idea to develop a new syntax in GDL to make it possible to edit a gdl produced text direct in the normal Archicad-Project-enviroment without the need of any Dialogbox similar to the Hotspot2-command do alter any written parameter.
Why?
Because it would speed up the workflow with GDLs in a way that obviosly noone expected till now...
Im programming a sewer-GDL for outdoor-enviroment with builtin longitudinal section-drawing of the Polygon
