"Shift-lock" key in AC 8 & 8.1

Will the Shift-lock key function come back in AC 8.1?
You know, the one where I could keep my wall tool active f ex and then press the Shift-lock key:
while then Shift-clicking on a "pile" of walls laying on top of each other, AC 7 would "flip" through
them in hierarchical order - and not as now;
activating / de-activating the very same wall all the time.

Is the old (and missed) 7 feature coming back

I feel your pain ...

Regretfully not.

Most of the users agree that the functionality is missed, while some argue that CapsLock was the wrong choice.

That is too bad. Since it has already been implemented in earlier versions of AC (and used by many users) it wouldn't hurt to keep it, or ....
