radial dimension - round column

Hi 

Am I missing something or it's impossible to dimension a radius of a round column with the radial dimension tool?

While with a 2D object such as a circle or an arc it doesn't seem to have any problem, I can't find a way to do that with a column (?)

You can do that with the label tool. Out of the box you get the diameter/width parameter but you can make a property to calculate the radius.
