second processor for layout updating

Now that layouts are part of Archicad can updating be assigned to the second processor/core.
Previously when Plotmaker was updating I could go back to Archicad to continue working. Now I am stuck staring at screen.
I know processor threading was part of a previous poll but the most recent version has made things more urgent.

AGREED!
The most computationally intensive application on most folks hard drive should really make use of the computational resources of the machine. Multiprocessor/multipal cores are now standard and ubiquitous in the marketplace and pro software (especially this pro software) should really reflect that reality.

Just an idea: open two sessions of AC10.
One should contain the Model, the other should contain the Layout Book for that Model.
Let us see if the two sessions use the two separate cores.
