separate line category for vectorial 3D hatching

Separate line category for vectorial 3D hatching would be useful so I could turn on/off brick or roof tile hatchings on already detached complex elevations easily with no need to regenerate them.

Perhaps, but at least convert the hatch into fills instead of a gazillion lines.

Don't understand what are you suggesting...? That would be great to have vectorial 3D hatches as fills in 3D window or elevations but those hatches are not always orthogonal in 3D window so this would mean that ArchiCAD would have to generate new fill types as well. Is this what you want?

Mmmm.... Seems I didn't think this all the way through. However, to create additional fills for the areas that are not orthogonal would be acceptable. I just would not want the newly created fills to creep into new projects. Perhaps created fills could have a separate designation in the fill pallet.
