NOT the same thing.

and I would like to ad:
-sloped columns
-sloped beams (not the roof workaround)
-and poligonal columns and beams

(nemetschek allplan has had these for several years)

you can use the structural steel objects in the library and add some inclination angle . . . or for more solid polygonal columns, use the basic elements - again with inclination angle.

not trying to defend archiCAD . . . just trying to help with some workarounds, as djordje says, in the meantime . . .

I completely agree, there should be some method to define the height of each end of the wall. Alternatively, define the height of one end of the wall and define the slope of the wall. You can already have canted walls and curved canted walls, etc., but NO sloped walls? Why? The SEO trick is a workaround, but it takes much more time than it should to make a sloped wall.

I often use the mesh tool for this, but you can't use the composite wall types...

Do you know of a way to give your mesh a uniform thickness for this type of thing?

I'm not sure what you mean... I start out by drawing the mesh as a rectangle that is as wide as my walls. Then, in the 3D window, I drag each corner vertically to where I want it to go.
