transfer parameters to different entities

It would be very helpful to be able to transfer parameters between the construction elements (walls, columns, slabs, etc) and objects/labels.
Now there is already a sort of connection between the construction elements and the labels ...What I suggest is to implement this kind of connection simply using the sirynge/eye dropper.

Suppose to have an object which builds the reinforcement cage of a column, it would be very quick to pass the geometry data of the column to the object simply using the eye dropper/sirynge ...

unless it is already possible what I hope for ...
