Here is something that consistently bugs me: Working on a Mac, when Archicad is opening, it jumps to being the active application several times during the opening process. If I am working in another application, Archicad will jump to being the active application so that I have to click back into the app I was using. This also happens from time to time when Archicad is operating. Does this bug anyone else?
Thanks.

Hear hear! I made a wish a while back: https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Wishes/Stop-stealing-focus-when-launching-a-new-instance-of-Arch...
My wish has been added to wish list with reference WISH-12569. Any news on the progress, @Benjamin Dani?

Hi All,
keeping Archicad in the background while it is starting up would require a significant change in how Archicad is loaded, so I am sorry to inform you, but unfortunately this request cannot be fulfilled in the short- or midterm.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Hope this clarifies.
Best regards,

Hi @Daniel Kassai,
Thanks for your reply, BTW I've noticed something i want to ask about,
If you watch the attached video it will show you that while Archicad is starting up it has to show the desktop background or any other opened App background that makes me feel it's shutting down or restarting and i find this change occurred with the last update for 27 TP 2202 not before that,
Is this intended also?
Thank you in advance.

Hi @Mahmoud Qenawi ,
we had to make some changes under the hood, which required us to hide Archicad for a bit while loading.
In Archicad 28 we will check if we can better optimise the loading experience.

Thanks for your reply which clarifies that this loading experience won't be changed until 28 or later,
I like your frankness.

This is really disappointing. I would reconsider if Archicad's weird window management could be made more compatible with Mac.
Not only this, Archicad doesn't work fully with 3rd party window switchers on Mac, eg. phantom windows with "ARHICAD" title appears every now and then. I understand that 3rd party software doesn't have to be supported, but I see this related to the same problem.

Now this is a proper, realistic, fact-based answer. I thank you for this.
