Feature request - colored schedules based on reconstruction

Hi, It would be great if the colored charts [schedules] coming out in AC27 would improve a little bit and allowed colors based on reconstruction [renovation].

For example I would like to highlight in yellow all demolished zones, and in red all new zones in a room chart, etc... Now it only can highlight every odd or even line or headlines.. That’s nice for reading some big chart, but really not helpful in highlights the informations..

The best thing though, would be to be able to colored an automatic label based on the reconstruction type as well.

Thanks!

Hi Valerie,

that´s a good idea. Till then..give your elements the colors you want.

Example, existing walls color gray, New walls and parts of it in red, and so on...

Good luck!!

Though I agree on principle this can already be done by using Custom Properties (assigned to a zone by using Categories) and then using the Property as a Graphic Override.

well sure, I know what you mean, but this can’t solve the problem in charts/ tables. This won’t work there this way if I’m not mistaken.

Yeah, I got you, but this won’t be seen in charts or in labels.

But thank you!

I don´t know if Archicad will implement your idea, but ask them.

Right now, it isn't possible, for as far I know.

Can´t you color those charts in Paint, Photoshop,..after saving them as a picture?

Greetings.

If by charts/tables you are referring to "Schedules" then I agree and sorry for the misunderstanding.

The existing workaround to do that is:

  1. Export the Schedule to Excel
  2. Using Excel rules change the color of the cells
  3. Export as PDF
  4. Place PDF in Layout Book
  5. Repeat as necessary
