GDL: REQUEST ( "Floor Plan Cut Plane" )

The current function GLOB_CUTPLANES_INFO can deliver unexpected results and is incapable of delivering the relevant values to carry out correct top & bottom cropping of GDL Objects on plan. Examples of this can be seen in various sloping GS supplied objects including Rafters.

 

In order to enable correct presentation on plan, assuming a GLOB value is not available, a simple solution would be to enable a REQUEST function to make all the values in the current story Floor Plan Cut Plane settings available as an array including the number of stories above and below the current story and their local offset values.
