A one button select similar like adobe illustrator.  Especially useful for Objects like furniture or windows of a specific type.

The find tool is perfect for this as long as you know how to use the filter.

If you do an object/door/window, it lets you search by library part name.

Unnecessary. Existing Find tool works like that but you will need to "Store Criteria Set" and then use the pipette icon to "import" the existing object settings.

Couple of extra clicks but AC object options are way more complicated than AI's.

Yes but we really need A more efficient Find & Select - especially the ability to quickly choose and populate saved criteria sets. Something similar to element transfer settings would be a very efficient and intuitive way to select similar objects.

Don't disagree with having  a "faster" way to select criteria sets if the F/S panel is closed but right now the drop down to pick the settings is only a click away if you have is open.

I agree with you @scom570,

we should be able to select similar objects without compromising like AutoCAD. , Revit & others.
