The ability to lengthen a roof edge in section view.

I would like this option to be available when I click on the edge or end of a roof in section view:

all edit options available in all views consistently, as a general request!

BIM solutions and trouble shooting (self proclaimed) expert. Using Archicad 26 5002 US on Mac OS 11.5.2

I suspect the problem lies with roofs being a polygon shape, rather than a 'line' element like beams.

 

It would save a lot of time if they can somehow get it to work though.
