It would be very useful to have a tool that allows to consolidate a morph reducing triangulation, consolidatin all the faces on the same plane into one morph.
Very useful when importing not optimized 3ds objects and parts directly from the manufacturer website.

I would agree.
The reduce segmentation work OK for non-co-planar surfaces but does nothing for co-planar at all.

I was thinking this could be solved by Find & Selecting Morph Edges. I drew a Marquee then used the "Element Type IS Morph Edge" + "Marquee IS Inside Partially" F&S criteria, but it either selects all Morph Edges or none, both in 2D and 3D. It doesn't matter which Marquee method I use in 3D either.
Actually, I checked this in AC16 where the Morph Tool appeared and it didn't work even then. So this selection method doesn't work, which could be an answer to this wish. I will report it to Graphisoft along with the wish.

Hi all,

We added a wish to improve the functionality of the Select Morp Edge/Face criteria of the Find&Select so only the eges/faces in the area of the marquee are selected not the whole Morph with all of its edges. Tx for the report.
