layer button on Info Box too small (fixed size)

It should be possible to stretch this element, layer names can be long and only first 10-12 letters are visible. It makes me hover on this button to check the layer instead of quick look. Of course, dockable layer palette would be ideal. Always visible. Highlight layer of selected object
