When bringing in content from other files we need to rename layers with a preceding standard layer code - would be useful to be able to select layers and add a text string to the front of the layer name eg G_OS_
Yes - and if GS would have done their job and not just implemented the dumbest folders folder system ever then Automatic Name and ID for Folder Items would have solves it easily.
