Can anyone offer help or at least verify this problem? When I use the
label tool, if I place a independent text label with a 180.0 degree
setting in order to get text to the left of a leader pointing right -
the label reverts to 0.0 degrees when I ed...
How I do you get Plotmaker to plot out high quality 3D images of the
ArchiCAD model with transparency? - Importing a TIF of the ArchiCAD
image has resulted in a low quality output. - A saved PMK view loses the
transparency of the windows, as does a s...
When using the standard AC library (US version) parts called "Metal
Windows 9" I find that all of the single windows are just the same
object. I have inserted five different objects in a wall and they all
look the same (and all are not correct). From...
I just got that awful warning that ArchiCAD had found corrupted elements
or something and had deleted three of them. I have no idea what, if
anything, has gone missing or was corrupted. I wish... At least write
the error to a log file (like the Teamw...
Now with the magnetic selection function, it's a little too easy to
erase items like slabs when you are zoomed in. (We've done it to the
same slab twice now.) How about a warning that pops up that says,
"WARNING: An item you are about the erase does ...
Thanks Stuart, but this does not seem to solve the problem. But
restarting ArchiCAD does "fix" the labels that have been drawn and they
no longer flip around when moved. Newly added labels, however, still
have the same problem.
Yes Thomas, this is exactly my problem. You are correct that I am not
interested in creating a "rendering" (ie use the render command) as the
solid model view is good enough for what I want and much faster to
produce. My workaround has been even more...
Thanks Thomas, but the bitmap issue is not the problem. Here is what I
was doing... I wanted to create a Plotmaker layout with a shaded 3D view
of my model. I found that if I imported a 3D view directly into
Plotmaker the windows in the model were no...
Great topic. The amount of 2d linework effort we put into our sections
and elevations to get to an "acceptable" printed drawing at times seems
excessive. Especially if you have manage all that linework (and fills)
through design changes. We effective...
I do see how they do open properly in 3D. But there is still a problem
with how they are drawn in elevation. The opening lines do not toggle on
or off when changed under the parameter "Opening Line in 3D". Also, the
lines are not drawn properly. The ...
