When I create a mesh with visible ridges, and save it as object, open
the object, and change status code of ridges from s=0 (visible) to s=-1
(hidden), triangulation is broken. I always found this feature tedious.
Do I miss something ?
I was told of a bug. In AC 15 (FRA and INT, last hotfix), skylights do
cut the roof but not the roof accessory. After checking, I can't get the
hole in the roof accessory. I mean placing skylight with skylight tool,
not object tool. Can someone confi...
Until AC 14, the blue parameter "ac_thickness" referred to the vertical
thickness of a roof. Since AC 15, it refers to the perpendicular
thickness. Why this change? As a result, roof accessories are not placed
at the correct height. No matters the se...
This is an old feature, which I always found annoying. For the first
solution (Left), top contour edges don't show in elevation. Am I missing
something? Cheers R = 0.2 mat = SYMB_MAT for k = 1 to 2 body -1 s = 11 +
4*(k=2) + 64 hprism_ mat, mat, mat,...
To clarify, I was afraid to get this with several ruled parts (attached
image). Done with mass tool (s = 0 : visible ridges, mask = 21+128) An
attempt with two ruled parts give me the same (bad) result. I need a
single object to get smoothness in eve...

only top & bottom ridges visible before saving the morph as object. It
was easier to isolate them among hun...
Thanks Barry, I tried to preserve the parametricity of a native GDL
object (mass), vs a morph object. I need to show or hide only top &
bottom ridges. Easy to script with mass tool, but never tried with a
morph object. I guess it will take some time ...
ejrolon wrote:+1 Looking at "WC disabled 17" INT library part, I have
found some problems. Grab bars are made of prism tool + revolve tool for
elbows. Not a surprise if contour lines don't show. Why GS did not use
the tube tool for this, is really st...
