A few things:   The location of the AI files in the various folders is confusing to some.  Can you post a directory tree showing which components go where instead of us using trial and error? I have a problem similar to the mac people are encountering - it runs to 22% and stops.  It's as if it timed out.  I have tried Hi Vram and Lo Vram.   My setup is:   DELL i7-11700 32 GB Ram W10 Pro Display 1 - 3840x2160 NVIDIA RTX 3070 Display 2 - 1920x1080 NVIDIA RTX 3020 Display 3 - 1080x1920 Intel UHD 750   ... Hi Team,   After doing all the steps on this Installation I have encountered this issue where the engine will start and around 2 % will pop the message: Sorry we couldn't generate the Image. The generation Process has ran onto an error. Please check the AI Server Window for further details. I already gave TERMINAL full access to my MAC and also went to the process of running run.sh.I have try the 2 VRAM modes and is the same issue. As the title asks, is there?   First let me say I don't have the equipment necessary to run it, so I have not jumped on the AI train.   When you get it running, what exactly does it do and what value will it be? From what I can see, it can do some pretty renders in many different styles. I assume the more accurate the model you feed it, the better the results will be. But even then, in many cases it seems to distort the base model into something that is not constructionally possible. Some of the roofs and glass curtain walls I have see are laughable. Let's hope it is true AI and is learning from its mistakes.   But who is telling it where it is going wrong? I hope GS employees are not tasked with this, there is some many more important things they can be doing in my opinion.   And so, you can get images of unlimited options for your fantasy design. But that is all they are, just images. There is no BIM component to help you document what you see. It doesn't even tweak the geometry you feed it from my understanding.   Maybe it can be tweaked as an AI rendering engine, where it more faithfully keeps the geometry you feed it.   I see this as like asking a chat AI to write your university thesis. Something's failing when I request to Generate an Image. I run a mac with Sonoma, M1 Pro chip and 16 GB of RAM. Here's what I see when properly starting the engine.   And here's what I see after requesting the Generation. I'm no stranger to architecture ai renders, but one thing that always drove me away from them was the inconsistent results. Let's say, for example, I do a render today and get a result, tomorrow, with the same imput, I might get a completely different result. Is this controllable in the AI Visualizer for Archicad? ... After dragging run.sh it to the Terminal window and hit Enter, this message shows up in HomeBrew / Terminal.   I have moved the AI Visualizer folder from Add-ons into Archicad 27 folder > Add-ons > Extra. And i have moved the sd.webui folder into Archicad 27 folder.       ... View more

I find that it is hard to steer the to a good result. Once you have something you like, but the rest is not there yet, there is no mechanism to keep parts of it. The next try can be totally different. For example, at some point the solar panels were right, but that changed again later. There is no way to keep the correct solar panel. I wish I could draw a circle around it and keep that. I tried to highlight (blue) certain elements in Archicad, so I could give those elements a specific finish. But that has no effect.    Gardens and people are though in Archicad, but I could not add anything to it. Also I would like to replace a sphere with something else. That also does not work.   The Prompt strength did not give any better results for me.   ... View more

Having used MidJourney since V3, I've gained experience with LLM-based image generators. Selecting Stable Diffusion for this work might not have been the best choice; MidJourney excels more in architectural rendering. Are there plans for a MidJourney Renderer? While I understand the application is experimental, my initial impression is that it might have been premature for release. The lack of internal control over model geometry input is crucial for usefulness. 1. It seems the engine should process each Material assigned to elements in the fixed model. This would probably avoid random unwanted architectural features outside the design scope. 2. For this application to be worthwhile, there should be a mode where the ArchiCAD model should be preserved, and only materials and empty space around the model processed by AI. 3. Per-material locks are needed for refining or regenerating options for specific materials that look odd. 4. AI should use assigned texture maps, analyzing scale, location, UV mapping, and reflectance values for better results. 5. AI should receive location information for accurate sun orientation and time. 6. It would be nice to use a 3D envelope made from a mesh or a Morph to constrain features being generated outside of the Zoning envelope. Sort of a 3d Mask. 7. A Project Gallery.  Images should be saved in the project with links and prompts. Recalling old images without manual reloads and creating a gallery website for client sharing are recommended. 8. Compatibility with other LORAs or LLMs, like the Freedom.Redmond model, should be allowed. 9. Perhaps the way forward is with embedding features like ControlNet has;  a node-based editor for individual control over elements within the model and environment is essential. 10. Graphisoft may want to reconsider the GDL world for an AI-generated objects paradigm. Where 3d objects get created by a prompt for a product model name/number.  All Properties could be extracted from product literature online and embedded in the selected product making for easier schedules creation. Despite current limitations and the sizable 18 GB disk space requirement, I appreciate the effort and look forward to future updates. I hope for a MidJourney-compatible product soon. In the near future, perhaps within five years, we might be able to extract floor plans from these images, apply code analysis, and detail Construction Documents from conceptual images—an exciting prospect. ...
