Any ideas/forecast on what could this mean for us (I mean about API DevKit and the "portability" of our current add-ons)?
Something is already planned in the next future?
Any comment will be welcome...

I see one of two possibilities:
1) Metrowerks releases an updated Codewarrior version for OS 10 on Intel
2) GS converts all code to XCode.
My bet is on #1, even though I would LOVE to see #2/

Well, my #1 option is no longer an option at all. Metrowerks sold the rights to all their Intel compilers. Metrowerks Codewarrior will not work for MacIntels.
