Challenge Description


Dear Community members,

We are thrilled to open to submissions the Archicad In Your Pocket challenge, where you're invited to smarten up the Community with your very best Archicad tip!

Our jury is looking for short videos that are useful for a wide range of users, have clear instructions and are creative. The most captivating entries will win special rewards:

Critics’ Choice Award: Apple iPad pro + your video relaunched by Graphisoft with your name on highlight + exclusive Community badge;

Honorable Mention: €300 Graphisoft Learn voucher + chance to have your video relaunched by Graphisoft with your name on highlight + exclusive Community badge

Selected works also have the chance to be re-shared in our social networks!



Terms and Conditions



By submitting your entry, you agree with our Terms and Conditions, and the Terms of Use of Graphisoft Community.

• You are allowed and welcome to submit multiple entries;

• Graphisoft reserves the right to change or cancel any award and make other adjustments as needed to accommodate particular circumstances;

• All submitted entries will be publicly displayed on Graphisoft Community. Submitting an entry gives Graphisoft permission and approval to leverage content (images and/or videos) for Marketing and Public Relations purposes in presentations, on social media, and in the Graphisoft websites;

• By submitting your entry in this challenge, you declare that the video, text and/or related images are done by yourself and/or do not infringe any third party Intellectual Property. If the projects are inspired by a project or another idea, make sure to specify in the video and give the necessary credits;

• The submission window starts on October 1, 2024 | 8:00 AM CEST;

• All entries must be received by November 30, 2024 | 11:59 PM CET.

How to Participate


Simply send us a public link to your video hosted on any social media – e.g. YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo etc. The video must be up to 60 seconds, understandable for the English speaking audience, and easy-to-follow.

Meet the jury


Andrea Polgár-Veres  |  Graphisoft, Hungary

Andrea has been with Graphisoft for over 10 years and is currently the Digital Onboarding Program Manager. Previously, she spent 4 years as a Technical Lead, followed by another 2 years as a Senior BIM Consultant. Andrea also has teaching experience, having taught Advanced Archicad & BIM at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Earlier in her career, she worked for 2 years as a Technical Support Engineer.


Marcell Hillier  |  Graphisoft, Hungary

Marcell is a Product Marketing Expert at Graphisoft with a rich background in structural and bridge design engineering. He is an OpenBIM Ambassador, having led webinars on Seamless Collaboration. Marcell has developed and delivered Archicad & BIM trainings at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Outside of his professional career, he is a personal trainer and an active community organizer, focusing on activities for kids and youth. His hobbies include hiking and trail running.


Maria Kalashnikova  |  Graphisoft, United States

Maria is a former Architect and has been with Graphisoft since 2013. Throughout her tenure, she has organized numerous intensive courses and workshops focused on BIM and Archicad, helping teachers, students, and professionals enhance their skills and improve workflows. She has also successfully organized a student BIM project competition aimed at encouraging students to integrate BIM technologies into their educational projects. Passionate about accessibility to technology, Maria believes that everyone should have access to the best tools that fit their workflow, ensuring the best outcomes for the future of design.


Yasmin Herden  |  Graphisoft, Hungary

Yasmin is a Information Management Consultant at Graphisoft HQ, specialized in BIM workflows. She is a Brazilian Architect and Urban Planner, with a buildingSMART international certification. Prior to her role at Graphisoft, she served as a BIM Specialist at Königsberger Vannucchi, and contributed as a collaborator at LaBIM-SC, the BIM Laboratory of Santa Catarina State. Yasmin has also assisted Graphisoft Brazil in developing and conducting training sessions as a Certified Archicad Trainer.
