Make editable an xref’d DWG

We have a DWG file from a client for a site master plan. It has several other DWG files xref‘ed in to

it but it has not been bound before exporting to us. Does anyone know a way to explode the DWG to make the entire file editable?

Not sure if I'm missing the exact point, but you can select an instance of an XREF'd  DWG, right click, explode (maybe it's break not explode).

Just make sure your suspend groups toggle is not enabled.
