Hi i am new in archicad for about a 8 months. I will be honest, I used revit grasshopper and rhino in all my carrer but about a year ago I bought an Imac, and has been a nightmare working with archicad. Really if you make modern buildings archicad will be your best friend, but for student is so frustrating. ( For example in the new video tutorials of archicad 15 of classic buildings they used as example buildings that had been made about 60 years ago and only in the present day can bee modeled)
So I decided to use archicad only for modeling slabs an draw structural grids or some ortogonal elements in my projects. But the problem is when I tried to import a project made in rhino and grasshopper as and 3ds object to Gdl for make easily the floor plans and sections. But the objects doesn`t cut in cross sections or plans. I go to de gdl edit and here is a part when you put the parameters of the 2d drawing I changed them but nothing happens.
My question, is there some way to import and entire project to archicad only for make floor plans and sections, really I'm not interested to edit anything in archicad only a need the way to import objects and define the fill pattern in the 2d drawings.
I really need some help i will be so grateful. (sorry for my english i'm from chile)
