MEP System Types

Generic question about MEP Systems in ARCHICAD.

If you customize them, which level of definition you apply? By default, AC provides cabling, cooling, exhaust air, fresh air, heating, sprinkler. But there are some elements which belong to more than one system (i.e. HVAC exterior equipment). It seems we should create a system for them, too.

We may follow some BIM classification standard (i.e. Uniclass 2015, table Ss), but I am not sure that it is practical.

What is your feedback about it?

Thanks!
