Tekla Structure 20 to ArchiCad 18 ifc import problem

Hi...
Please can anyone here explain, why ifc element wich made in Tekla structure v.20, expecially beam with inclened angle become "object" in ArchiCad??

I already tested it in Tekla v.17 in there's no problem (without any adjustmen in Tekla exporter)...then when i import it into ArchiCad using "Tekla Structure translator" everything looks good (only Beam & Column appear, just bolt become object)

Its too bad because Tekla Structure v.20 more powerfull, running in x64

Thanks for advance

In Tekla Structure v.20
Is there any tips for Tekla Exporter setting??? so all component still translated into Beam & Column, Except Bolt in ArchiCad

Can you check the IFC file exported from Tekla in an IFC Model Viewer like Solibri or Tekla BIMSight?
Is the Beam a Beam in the IFC Viewer too?
If not, Tekla export might have the problem.
If it is, then the ArchiCAD import may be erroneous. In that case it may have to do with the fact that it is an inclined Beam.

I'm trying to understand if inclined beams export from tekla in IFC are imported as inclined beam in ARCHICAD; but it seems they are converted in objects.
Have anyone found any setting to solve it.

You should check the inclined Beam geometry exported from Tekla in an IFC Viewer, such as Solibri Model Viewer.
If the Beam is an extruded geometry, then it may import into ARCHICAD as a Beam. But if it is a BREP (Boundary Representation) then it definitely won't. In that case it will only import as an Object (or Morph, depending on the IFC Translator Setup).
