Removing nodes in Meshes

Can anyone advise on a quick & easy way?
If you drag a node ontop of another both seem to remain.

You probably have multiple nodes on top of each other. You should try using a small marquee to stretch the nodes from one to the other. Still a mind numbing job! May be easier to select the whole contour (not on a node), delete it and replace it.

Good luck.

I found the sme thing. I think I had to zoom in to get the hotspot exactly on top of the point to remain.

Some nodes do seem to lead a double life. If a contour ends on an outside edge the point behaves as two nodes. I have found that I have to pull the two apart (so that the end of the contour is inside the mesh) to adjust them. The marquee tool works best if you want to mve both nodes to the same place.
