Tube Distortion

Hello everyone.

Hope you all had a great start to the New Year.

I have been trying to use the Tube and TubeA commands to generate a profile following a path that changes along all 3 axis. The script is working, however when tube path changes in more than one axis at a time (eg bend 90º to the right and onto a 45º incline) it becomes distorted, twisting away from the path (shown in red).

The TubeA command doesn't have this problem. However as it generates the tube from the profile at each joint, meaning the tube changes width along each segment. I've attached a basic version of object with the two tube commands.

Is there any way to get the best of both worlds, a consistent section along a path that changes in all 3 axis?
