Hello,
Working in AC21, is there a way to have window element IDs show in elevation? They are currently showing on the floor plans.

Thanks

Use the Label Tool.
Set the Label, then select all of the Windows to be labeled and
use the "Label Selected Elements" command.
It's in the Document Tab.

Just to be clear, this is not a way for the label to appear via one object in both plan and elevation right? As in you have to annotate both plan and elevation (i.e. two times)

Correct.
Use the Label tool for elevations and the "built-in"
Dimension Marker (within the window/door tools) for plan views.

I can get it to appear on plan, but not in elevation automatically

For elevations... you have to select the label tool,
pick which label you want to use, then click the window.

Ah OK got it - sorry I thought you were saying there is a way for one label tool to appear both in Elevation & Plan - that would be handy........

You can quickly label an elevation if you:
1. Open the Label tool and select the label settings you want
2. Find & Select the Windows
3. Document > Label Selected Elements

I find this often does a 95-99% complete job, usually there are only a few to be modified by hand.
