Hi, I`ve had this problem for a while, all the plans / sections / elevations PDFs generated with ArchiCAD are so slow for pan and zoom in the mac app that I prefer generate them as DWGs and open them with Autocad for a presentation.
Recently I`ve upgraded my macbook to a quad core i7 3.0ghz, 16gb ram, SSD and Geforce GT750M videocard and, for my surprise, the problem persists exactly as it were in my old 2011 Macbook air.
Am I making something wrong? I generate all my PDFs with 150dpi.
Do you use Mac Preview App or some other faster PDF viewer?
The plans we generate are complex, generally urban plans with LOTS of lines, dimlines, hatches and text and so on.
