I am unable to type number or letters in the Schedule's Custom text field.

Seems to work ok in 25 and 27. I don't have 26 to check. Sorry.

then check if the element is Element Locked. if it is, unlock it.
if that doesn't work, check if the layer that the element belongs to is also locked or not.
