SOLVED!

Change cloud

ACAD 18, Using this software for 2D purposes only. In layout space, I create the Change cloud by drawing a rectangle, and changing the line type to "Bubble". The clouds show up as reversed, how do I fix this so it shows up as revision cloud?

When drawing the rectangle, instead of going bottom left to top right, draw from top left to bottom right.

You should be able to select all the existing lines and mirror them in one go to reverse them also.

You need to reverse the direction you draw the fill, polygon, lines.
I am not sure what you are using to draw the rectangle.
Instead of drawing left to right, go right to left.
Or if a continuous line, instead of going clockwise, go anti-clockwise.

Or just use the revision cloud object.

Running into this issue in Archicad 24. No change is drawing orientation is working. left-right, right-left, clock-wise, counter clock-wise. It's all opposite of what I need, cloud being on the outside of my 'Change Cloud'.

If you are using line tool (single line or rectangle) to draw the cloud, then just reverse the direction you draw.

Same for a polyline.

If using a fill, again just draw in the opposite direction.

Maybe you can post some screen shots if you are still having trouble.

The clockwise or anticlockwise method appears to work for polylines, but the change clouds are always inverted no matter what. Is there any other solution? The P key should work as a logical UIX point...

I am not going to be of much help I am afraid.

I have never used the Change Manager if that is what you are using.

If I get a chance later, I will look into how it works.

Otherwise if someone else can help, please do.

OK Thank you, I might just make a new linetype that is inverted.
