Cover fill elevation in section view is too dark

In my existing and proposed elevation views, the cover fill for my brick and roof material is set to the lightest penweight possible, and they're showing up fine as I set them to be. However, in my Proposed Section cut view seeing the elevation beyond, the pen set for the cover fill is really dark and I can't figure out why or where to go change it.

I've checked the view setting to make sure it's on the same pen set as other views and that it's on the correct renovation filter... where else could this be for me to get the cover fill in the background to show up correctly?

Does it have anything to do with the change in scale? The existing and proposed elevation views are at 3/16" and the section view is at 3/8"?

By 'elevation beyond' do you mean the 'Marked Distance Area'?

I think it might be called something else in 25/26 - I don't have it running at the moment.

If so, do you have the 'Uniform pen for uncut elements' set to on?

Thank you so much, I wasn't aware of this setting. It's not that one but I tested out several variations and this one did the trick.
