Dimensions to move with grids

Johann_P

I'm trying to let dimensions attach (stick) to grids on plan.
ie. So that when I move the grid, the dimension updates to the new value.

I'm struggling to do that and was hoping for some advice.

when you dimensioned the grids, did you click the Grid node & not a random point along the grid line?
clicking on the node makes the Dimension Node point circular & makes it a Linked Dimension, where if it's clicked on a random point along the Grid line makes the Dimension node square & makes it a Static Dimension.

It's important to remind that associative dimensions only link to the permanent hotspots of any element. When dimensioning always click on a permanent hotspot, rather that a temporary one such and intersection or mid point hotspot.
