I am using Layout to prepare a drawing for printing and I need to specify the colour coding for each fill. I have drawn rectangles on the layout as the caption and I thought I could change the colour of the rectangular fills by picking the colour directly for the view but I can't. I can only if I explode the view but I don't want at the moment, as I will have to work on it later. Is there a way I can access the view fills from the layout?
thank for your help,
Pao

Why not place a visual legend as a saved view? You can exclude it from any scale autotexts. Use an unlinked worksheet for it.
