Interactive schedules and sections/elevations

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to decide whether to use interactive schedules (easier to use) or lists (anal, if you ask me) to generate automatic quantity take offs.

For some elements (e.g. metal sheeting) I'm using a dedicated line type (say "copper rain gutters) to mark the length of an element, and I'm entering it in sections and elevations. Will AC13 calculate them in a schedule, or am I forced to use a list?

Thanks!

Using IS, you can add Additional Parameters to your schedule. I used a gutter object and added the Additional Parameter of "Gutter Length". Choosing the Sigma option next to the Gutter Length parameter the schedule gives me the total of the lengths of placed gutter objects.
