Meshes - adding further spacings to sloped mesh

Hi All,

I am currently working on a site plan presentation, and wish to use a relatively detailed mesh large enough to cover the whole site, plus surrounding terrain.

However, my sloped mesh settings only seem to allow me to set out a maximum 40x50 space mesh or 50x40 space - what am I overlooking here?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Your local friendly Stonethrower!

I don't think you're overlooking anything. The maximum total divisions is 2000, with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 400 on each axis AFAIK. Why don't you just start with no divisions and add your own contours manually?

Cheers,

I am curious why you chose the grid type mesh construction method
rather than the polygon or rectangle construction method since
you say that you want to make a site plan which implies free form
contours at regular elevation intervals. The grid or regular sloped mesh
does not allow contours in the conventional sense
but just divides the surface into a regular grid pattern.
Normally, site plans are modeled as a terrain mesh using
the polygon construction method and contour lines are added
after the outside edge of the terrain is drawn.
Thank you,
