SOLVED!

Shadows in 3D Documents

Yvonne

We are able to change the shadow polygons, fill pens etc to the sun shadows in 3D documents but this is only to the shadows cast onto new elements.
Is there a way to change the colour of the shadows cast onto existing elements?

It looks to me that you have a Renovation Filter active that is set to 'Override' the fills of 'Existing' elements and is 'Showing' the fills for 'New' elements.

Can you show a few screenshots that clearly demonstrate the issue? Probably a 3D Documents Settings Dialog, then the resulting 3D Document Viewpoint, plus some info about which element is New and which is Existing.

same 3D document, just played with new/existing to show the difference, did not touch the shadow settings.

Hi Yvonne,

Thank you very much for the question!

Unfortunately, I was unable to replicate the issue with a brand new template file. There could be some other settings hidden in the file that may control the shade of shadow on the slab and mesh. Is it possible for you to share the file for a closer look? Please le me know if you need a secure place to upload the file.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,
Minh
