SOLVED!

Text direction.

Gisele

When I rotate certain texts, they flip. I want the attached text to read vertically from bottom to top. if I align it with the road line (rotate it 2.10 degree), the text flips: it reads from top to bottom.

How to avoid this?

What you have shown is correct, text should always be readable from the bottom or right hand side of the screen/page.

But if you want it upside down, turning off 'always readable' should do what you want.

Have you also got the screen rotated?

in the text settings, make sure it is NOT set to "Always Readable". Then, when it is showing incorrectly at 2º of 90º, you just need to spin it around 180º to face the correct direction.
Always readable can also make it look right in AC, but get all weird in the PDF for certain PDF readers.

Attached are the screenshots:

The Always Readable option is not selected. Also, I tried the 180-degree addition in vain.

It reads from top to bottom despite of the angle (92.48 degree or 272.48 degree).
